Daniel Valderrama

I am an Economist Consultant at the World Bank, Washington, DC. I received my Ph.D. in Economics at Georgetown University in May 2022

I am an applied microeconomist whose research lies at the intersection of development and public economics. I study the effect of public policies and political distortions on local economic development. I am also interested in the causes and consequences of income inequality.
