Daniel Valderrama
I am an Economist at the World Bank in Washington, DC, working primarily on West and Central Africa. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Georgetown University in May 2022.
I am an applied microeconomist whose research lies at the intersection of development and public economics. My work examines how public policies and political distortions shape local economic development, with a particular focus on the causes and consequences of income inequality.
